SIXTH GRADE ACADEMY: Careers come together in classrooms



Career Day was held at the Sixth Grade Academy May 8. Students spent the morning shuttling between classes and speakers that included the following:

Border Patrol Officer; Nurse; auto-diesel mechanic; Driver Services professional; employees of Masco; Police; Construction foreman; Funeral Director; Home Buyer; employee of K-Space; Photographer; Social worker; Nursing student; Big Ten official; Ford vehicle dynamics; Court Clerk; Event Planner; college instructor; Naval officer; Piano instructor; Vocal instructor; and other welding, construction and computer-related staffers.
