Eureka Heights Elementary School
pupils in Ms. Farkas and Ms. Schoen's first-grade class paid homage to Dr.
Seuss in their kick off to "March Is Reading Month.”
The pupils’ favorite activity was a
direct result of reading 10 Apples Up On Top. Each student designed their
own 10 apples and attached them to their personal "tree.”
They then practiced using the CCSS of
counting by tens to decipher how many apples they had as a class.
