Monday was “Read Across America Day” – er, maybe read
across Blair Moody Elementary School day!
The school had a very special visitor for “Read Across
America Day,” State Representative (and Taylor Schools graduate) Douglas Geiss.
Rep. Geiss visited Mrs. Wolney's and Ms. Harig's third-grade
classrooms. He read a story, answered questions and taught pupils a little bit
about government.
The third graders were especially excited to meet Mr.
Geiss because they will be visiting the representative in Lansing next month.
