Mrs.
Proudlock's seventh-grade team from West Middle School recently visited the
Michigan Science Center.
The
students had an opportunity to explore several aspects of the curriculum.
Of special interest was the area that highlighted light and sound, since these
were the topics they were learning about at the time.
The
students were fascinated by the interactive areas of past toys, nutrition,
space, aging, machinery and conservation.
The
visit also took a quick tour of downtown Detroit, traveling to PizzaPapalis for
lunch. The field trip was a wonderful experience. Student knowledge of
the science objectives was reinforced through amazing hands-on experiences.
