The
Taylor School District was invited to speak at the State of the City Address
February 21. There was a focus on the district as a whole, but especially the
merging of the high schools and all of the wonderful new initiatives that have
been put in place.
Representing
the district were Board of Education President Debbie Stellini, Assistant
Superintendent Mary Ann Cyr, Principal Melissa Skopczynski, and senior class
presidents Julia Howelland Marissa Ogea.
The
entire SOC presentation was about 90 minutes, about 15 of which were devoted to
the district. Thank you to the City of Taylor for the opportunity to showcase
our school and district.
