HOOVER MIDDLE SCHOOL focuses on unity

Hoover Middle School participated in Unity Week from October 18-26. The purpose of Unity Week is to encourage all of our students and staff to take an active role in bullying prevention.

During Unity Week students and staff participated in various activities through their enrichment classes on the subjects of unity and our school theme this year: S.O. A. R. (which means Self-control, On task, Acting Responsibly, and Respectfully).

Students viewed videos about anti-bullying, discussed how they as students could be proactive regarding harassing situations, and worked as a team to create S.O.A.R. banners for our Unity Walk. Our Unity Walk was held on October 26 to show that all staff and students at Hoover Middle School are united as a community for bullying prevention.
