The
City of Taylor's 2017 Daddy-Daughter Dances were held recently at the Lakes of
Taylor Banquet facilities. Both dances were a sellout and were heavily attended
by Taylor students and parents.
Highlights
of the event included photos of each of the couples, which were taken at the
first-floor entrance to the clubhouse. In the lobby upstairs, each young lady
was able to build her own teddy bear, a new feature of the event.
The
girls picked out their bear, help stuff it with the aid of air-powered machines
full of feathers, added its own "heart" and T-Shirts and even
received an official "birth certificate."
Inside
the banquet room, there was food, refreshments and plenty of candy, cookies and
cakes.
The
girls, in the 12-and-under range, looked great in their colorful formal
dresses, shoes and makeup.
Oh,
and the dad's didn't do a bad just, either.
