Kindergartners from Kinyon Elementary School visited Taylor City Hall on Friday, and appeared to have a great time.
They got to visit the City Council chambers, seat in the seats on the dais and even create their own "city resolutions" and take votes on them (by the way, those resolutions included a new play set for a neighborhood park and a new chair for the mayor's position on the dais).
Mayor Rick Sollars visited with the group and read a book to them. The students enjoyed the reading and then quizzed Mayor Sollars with questions and information about themselves.
