Safety
Town 2016, brought to you to the Taylor Police Department, is scheduled for
morning and afternoon sessions from June 27-July 1 at the Sixth Grade Academy,
13500 Pine Street. Morning sessions are from 10-noon and afternoon sessions are
from 1-3.
Safety
Town is a weeklong program that teaches children how to be safe in their
community. It uses hands-on activities taught in a small, pretend town to teach
children about the many aspects of safety and injury prevention. Issues like
traffic, personal and fire safety will be taught. The program includes a field
trip to the Taylor Fire Department.
Safety
Town is designed for children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2016.
Cost
is $20 per child per session. Each child receives a Safety Town T-Shirt, art
supplies, course material and snacks.
Turn
in all registration materials will your registration fees in an envelope marked
"Taylor Safety Town" at the front desk of the police department.
