Cancer
is a word that too many of us have experienced.
Students
at Sixth Grade Academy are working together to raise money for cancer awareness
and research. The SGA Relay for Life Committee consisting of two students
from each team are selling ribbons during focus class to honor people in their
lives that have been affected by cancer.
The
proceeds are being donated to the Relay for Life. The students will also
be participating in a Mini Relay for Life on May 23 during school hours to
further raise awareness.
