Seven
Kennedy High School juniors and seniors participated in U.S. Congressman John Dingell’s
student art show Saturday, March 22.
Derek
Burbank, Kelli Dawson, Jordan Foster, Jenna Grabowski, Blanca Hernandez,
Madeline Porter and BreAnn Trunick, along with their families and art teacher, Mendie
Russell, attended the reception honoring their efforts at Wyandotte’s Downriver
Council for the Arts.
Each
student received special Congressional Certificates and was able to meet and
take pictures with Dingell. This experience was a first for all the
students and they hope to participate in more shows in the future.
