Pupils in Mrs. James' kindergarten at Blair Moody Elementary School had a day full of St. Patrick's
Day fun on March 17.
The
students had a great time sorting and adding Lucky Charms cereal. When finished
with the math activity it was time to eat the treat and everyone agreed, they
are "magically delicious!"
The
green fun did not end there. After reading several books about
Leprechauns, the students worked together in groups to make a trap to try to
catch one. Although no Leprechaun was found, their teamwork paid off
because the Leprechaun lost some of his gold coins while escaping from the
traps. The best part was the gold coins were filled with chocolate!!
To
end the fun-filled day, students wrote about what they would do if they found a
pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Many students said they would share
it with others.
