The
month of February brought the opportunity for willing third graders to
participate in Art Club at Blair Moody Elementary School.
Mrs.
McLaughlin met with students for four weeks and each week they were able to
create a priceless, new, one-of-a-kind piece of art.
The
students worked with oils, chalk, pastels and watercolors to produce the treasured
works of art. Using straws and black watercolors, mysterious trees were
designed.
Other
projects focused on creating patterns using paper wrapped around pencils to
create colorful twirls.
March
ushers in the fourth graders to Art Club. Staff and students alike look forward
to the fabulous creations about to unfold.
