At Eureka Heights Elementary School, parents were encouraged to take a parental survey and write a letter to their student during recent Parent Teacher Conferences, according to Principal Stacie Hall.
Parents took the survey in the computer lab and then wrote an encouraging letter to their offspring. They also received a chance to visit the school's book fair with a goal of increasing reading at home.
