WEST MIDDLE SCHOOL marches in final Kennedy homecoming

Here are some more pictures from the Kennedy High School Homecoming Parade and the West Middle School Marching Band.  On October 6, students from the West Concert Band marched in the last Homecoming Parade for Kennedy High School.  Students performed the West Middle School Fight Song, Eye of the Tiger and Raiders March.

RANDALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL loves its second-grade teachers!

Randall Elementary School has awesome teachers! A few of them are second-grade teachers. It has been told they love their "job", as you can tell by the sweatshirts Mrs. Cahalan and Miss Mayle are wearing. Also, thank you to Mr. Davis who isn't pictured. TAYLOR PARKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL holds a 'time out'

Taylor Parks Elementary School held its first “Time Out for Parents” meeting this school year. The meeting was a meet and greet event, conducted by Mrs. Tania Hernandez, Behavior Interventionist, and Mrs. Kristen Salas, Positive School Climate/Culture Liason. 

They explained what it means being a Title 1 school, and all the wonderful programs that TP has to offer students and families.  These meetings will be help each month so watch for dates on our webpage. Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles are invited. Take the time to be informed.

CAREER CENTER home remodel and repair class takes to the great outdoors

At the Taylor Career Center, Mr. Murray's Home Remodel and Repair class is taking advantage of the nice weather and building an outdoor classroom.  CTE teachers and students will be able to take a break from their usual routine and bring their learning outside.

CAREER CENTER culinary arts students look the part!

Taylor Career Center students are getting into the act … the act of Culinary Arts class. They take their jobs very seriously. Some go the extra mile to dress the part, just like a professional.  And they all do their jobs with confidence and a smile.
