On
June 13, Myers Elementary School held a “Fifth Grade Farewell Prom” at Lakes of
Taylor Golf Club. Students had many new experiences and expressed how
much they enjoyed getting dressed up fancy, dancing, and how much fun the night
was!

HOOVER MIDDLE SCHOOL honorees take trip to Mackinac Island
At
Hoover Middle School, the students that earned the right to be in “Principal's
Pride” had a choice to attend a trip to Mackinac Island with Mr. Hall and Mrs
Scrivner. Even though it was chilly there, they enjoyed the
experiences on the island.
MCDOWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL celebrates graduates
McDowell
Elementary School celebrated the fifth-graders graduating recently. Mrs. Alef
and Mr. Tomassion, their teachers gave special tribute to each and every one
for contributing so much to the life of the school! Mrs. Borg, our
principal encouraged each of the students to remember a quote by Ralph Waldo
Emerosn, "Be Silly, Be Honest, and Be Kind!" We wish them all the
best!

It's
"Red Carpet" time again at McDowell Elementary School.
Every
year Mr. Tomassion treats the fifth-graders to a "moving on" ceremony
complete with awards celebrating just how special our kids really are. Parents
and students cheered and shared laughs at this memorable event.
