MCDOWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL has impressive giving tree

What a wonderful "Giving Tree" at McDowell Elementary School! Donations are needed for winter gloves, scarves and hats that can then be picked from the tree by those who need them. A big “thank you” to Dick's Sporting Goods and Meijers for helping!

MCDOWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL lauds parental involvement

A big “thank you” to parents and families that came to conferences at McDowell Elementary School this month. MCDOWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PIE parents are greeters

PIE (Parents involved in Education) were the greeters at McDowell Elementary School Parent Teacher conferences this week. They sold McDowell clothing, gave everyone a small gift and let everyone know a bit about becoming a part of their group. They hope all McDowell family will attend their monthly meetings (see lunch menu) as they strive to make this another wonderful year for the students. Don't forget to visit their Facebook page as well. A big “thank you” to Sam's Club for handing out goodies to our families!
