On
November 25 the families in Ms. Gray, Ms. Trigge and Ms. Eredi’s classes at Blair
Moody Elementary School joined together for their annual Thanksgiving Day
Feast.
Friends
and family
joined together for a great time of visiting and eating some yummy
food such as mashed potatoes, stuffing, chicken, banana pudding and pumpkin
rolls. They hope that everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
Holland Elementary School has been
taken over by snowmen! Every classroom door has been decorated with snowmen.
The ASD classroom is proud of their snowman door.
Holland
Elementary School teachers are spreading holiday cheer by decorating their
classroom doors in a “Snowman” theme this year. Doors will be judged by a
panel of students.
McDowell
Elementary School had a "Monster of a Book Fair!" Everyone sure loved
the books and goodies, too. The staff would like to thank the following
wonderful volunteers that helped many a little one count out their money: Ms.
Maiale, Ms. Moore, Mrs. Johnson, Ms. Thompson, Ms. Hagerman, Ms. Raupp, Mrs.
Clark and Mrs. Dryden.
Mr.
Young's class at Holland Elementary School enjoys the story "Grumpy
Badger's Christmas" and learns about hibernation in the process. The class
was very engaged and asked many great questions.
Eureka
Heights Elementary School kindergartners visited Magic Santa's Forest, located
in the Activities Building inside Heritage Park, recently.
Santa’s
Magic Forest, the largest indoor Christmas display Downriver, is open on
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through December 22. Check for exact times and
dates on www.cityoftaylor.com.
The
magic forest benefits the Downriver Fish & Loaves Food Pantry.
