HOLLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL parade a success

The Halloween parade at Holland Elementary School was a great success this year. The PTA was a great help handing out treats donated by the Holland families and “Gru” (Principal King) had all of her minions in order.

MCDOWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL storyboards depict sea creatures

At McDowell Elementary School, four fabulous non-fiction readers joined together to create a dynamic storyboard.

Each first grader, and a kindergartener, chose a beach creature to research. The students then select interesting facts on their animal to share on the storyboard and on the school-wide televised morning announcements.

Did you guess their sea creatures? They were sharks, oysters, sea turtles and stingrays.

MCDOWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL computer lab is open for business

The McDowell Elementary School Lab is open and ready for business. With the help of technology teacher, Mr. Kaunelis and technician, Mr. Harding, Mr. Tomassion's fifth graders are having a great computer time.

RANDALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL fourth graders participate in DTE program

The  fourth-grade students at Randall Elementary School recently participated in the DTE Think Energy Program.  It is a wonderful program that reinforces the importance of energy, natural resources, and environmental issues. Each fourth-grader received an energy kit to take home.
