Mayor Rick Sollars visited Ms. Danaj's kindergarten class at Kinyon Elementary School this week as part of March is Reading Month. We're not quite sure who had more fun, the students or the mayor.
The class chose Dr. Seuss's "Ten Apples Up On Top" for the mayor to read, and afterward proceeded to quiz his with questions like "Just what do you do at your job?" and other similar questions.
The mayor has been a regular invitee to Ms. Danaj's classes, first at Holland Elementary School and now at Kinyon. He promised the class to return to visit in the future, before going back to City Hall for more budget meetings ... Yuck!
