Raising cancer awareness has a special place around Hoover Middle School.
One of the reasons why the school is so interested in the campaign is because of one of Hoover's own, Ms. Pasek, has fought the "tough battle" and come out on top!
Yesterday and today, Hoover had key events planned surrounding "Pinked Out Day," an affair during which the entire student decks out in pink and raises donations to aid in cancer research. One dollar donations were taken all day and we'll get back with you in the near future when a total is announced.
Just a couple of hours ago, Hoover hosted its Mini Relay for Life at the school.
